Moore-ism: A Hypocrite Story

So liberals continue to fawn at the (big) feet of Michael Moore and depict him as a gentle, yet hard-charging man who is fighting for the average American.
Easy to see how he has so much in common with the average American. I’m sure the average American also makes about $21 million on their film projects like Moore did with “Fahrenheit 911”. You know; the film that bashes former President Bush and incites hatred and anger? Oh yeah, a liberal trademark, silly me.
How about "Capitalism: A Love Story" where big, greedy Capitalists (like Moore), are portrayed as filthy evil-doer’s? Sorry, I didn't get a chance to see it as it was replaced in the local theater by this year's candidate for 2nd worst movie, "THE UGLY TRUTH". I'm not sure, but I think that movie is subtitled: "The Michael Moore Story" Either way, I'll bet both movies have a lot in common.

A Capitalist bashing Capitalism? His latest project brings to mind the saying about not biting the hand that feeds you. I guess it doesn't really matter though because as long as Moore finds a group of victims (Mr. & Mrs. Average American) and a villain (the free market system), liberals won’t care that Moore is profiting from the Capitalistic system.

Here’s an excerpt from a letter he posted recently promoting, sorry, strongly urging his followers to see his movie ASAP. Since Moore has to protect his anti-establishment, anti-capitalist façade, I added the “capitalized” (get it?) text. He might only say it this way to his Capitalist friends, but we all know this is what he was thinking:

For those of you waiting till next week to see it, I can’t say this strongly enough: Do not put off going to see “Capitalism: A Love Story” [BECAUSE I’M GOING TO MAKE A LOT OF MONEY] It is not just a movie. It is a referendum that is being closely watched by the CEOs of America [AND, I’LL MAKE A LOT OF MONEY]. Let me tell you bluntly, the suits on Wall Street [AND I] are closely watching to see how this movie does this weekend [BECAUSE I HOPE TO MAKE A LOT OF MONEY]. So, too, are the members of Congress. If “Capitalism” has a huge opening, [I COULD MAKE A LOT OF MONEY] it will send shivers down their corporate spines, telling them loud and clear that the American people are mad as hell and are not into taking it any more. It will put all the bosses on notice that the vast Obama-voting majority has awoken from its silence and are out in full force [PLUS, I’LL MAKE A LOT OF MONEY].
But if the attendance is just “ok” or “so-so,”[I MIGHT NOT MAKE A LOT OF MONEY?] then they will be relieved knowing that there is not a popular groundswell of opposition out there—and then they can go about their business as usual. I’d like to send them a different message [I WANT TO MAKE A LOT OF MONEY].
Treat tonight and tomorrow as if it were election day. Blow their minds on Monday morning when they show up at their executive suites, switch on CNBC or Fox Business News, and learn that America turned out in droves to participate in a raucous denunciation of Wall Street and everything it stands for [THEN I’LL MAKE A LOT OF MONEY]. I often hear people ask, “What can I do to make my voice heard?” Your answer is at the nearest theater showing this movie [IF YOU CAN FIND ONE]. Trust me, packing these movie houses tonight and tomorrow will eff them up in an overwhelming and profound way [PLUS, YOU GUESSED IT, THE HYPOCRITICAL CAPITALIST WILL MAKE A LOT OF MONEY!].
